The tributary of the IJssel where Dorado Beach is situated (about 100 metres wide and 7.5 metres long) has clean, still water which is great for swimming, fishing or waterskiing. While travelling along the hanzesteden (seven medieval towns along the River IJssel), cycling through the Veluwe, or visiting castles in the Achterhoek, this is an area where you can really wind down or "effe uutbloza’n" as they say here. 

 

Dorado Beach has full-service berths for all types of boats and can accommodate 170 sailing and motor boats. All berths are fitted with electricity points and have a water supply in the vicinity. Facilities at the marina include modern shower and toilet blocks, a floating fuel station, a bilge water and dirty water pump and a trailer slipway and cradle transporter. If you don’t have room to sleep on board your own boat, then you can spend the night at our camp site, in a short stay cabin, an on-shore buoy or a luxury floating holiday home. We also rent out bikes and canoes.
